Questionnaire on National Public Administration in Africa

The following open ended questionnaire can be used to establish an overall picture of operations, as well as tendencies, of national public administrations in order to obtain better understanding and knowledge of structures and processes within the public administrations. 
The questionnaire consist of ten parts:
 
  • general structure of the assessed public administration
  • civil service,
  • civil society vs. public administration 
  • ethics of the public administration 
  • use of information and communication technologies in the public administration
  • sensitive branches of public administration
  • globalization
  • training
  • research
  • what are the two most important problems of the national public administration in you country
The original purpose of the questionnaire was to gather and share their responses with the United Nations On-Line Network on Public Administration and Finance (UNPAN); as part of a collaborative UNDESACAFRAD effort to facilitate the sharing of information and knowledge about public administration in Africa. The questionnaire was designed by the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS), Brussels and was modified by CAFRAD for their survey.
